Work with us!

We’re recruiting for an exciting freelance opportunity on the Wards Corner Community Plan.

Community organising and partnership development for the Community Plan

As part of our community organising strategy, we are hiring a freelance worker to engage the local community and build strong partnerships to support the Community Plan and our bid for the long-term lease for Wards Corner and the market. This person will help transform years of community campaigning into a sustainable model of democratic community ownership.

The organiser will be responsible for ensuring that Tottenham’s diverse communities – in particular working class, Latin American, Black and other minoritised groups that live or work in Tottenham or who use its economic, social and cultural facilities – are empowered to play a strong role in this process, shaping the future of the site and the reinvestment of surplus resources in the local area.

More details on the project, and the criteria needed for the role, are in the job advert available here.
