Unfortunately, due to a cluster of Covid cases amongst the event organisers, we have taken the difficult decision to move the meeting to be online only. While we would prefer to meet in person, we feel this would be irresponsible.
To receive the zoom link, please continue to register with Eventbrite. The meeting will now take place between 7.30 – 9.00pm – please inform any friends and neighbours you know may attend.
We will reschedule a physical meeting as soon as possible.
Grainger are OUT! Its time to deliver the Wards Corner community plan!
Join us on Wednesday 24th of November for an in person community meeting of workshops on the Wards Corner Community Plan and celebration of the community’s achievements so far.
This community meeting will be open to all community members, and food and drink will be provided during the celebration. Kids are welcome and the venue has a soft play area.
During the meetings there will be short workshops on the new Wards Corner Community Benefit Society which is currently in the process of being established, to democratically manage the restored Wards Corner building, and on the Wards Corner Community Plan from architectural co-designers Unit-38. Everyone will have the chance to share their views and help shape the design and governance aspects of the Plan, and the CBS.
Members of the Wards Corner Coalition, the Seven Sisters Tenants Association, Save Latin Village, and the West Green Road/Seven Sisters Development Trust will also be giving short speeches.
There will be Spanish translation during the event.

¡Grainger está FUERA! ¡Es hora de entregar el plan comunitario de Wards Corner!
Únase a nosotros el miércoles 24 de noviembre para una reunión comunitaria en persona de talleres sobre el ‘Community Plan’ de Wards Corner y la celebración de los logros de la comunidad hasta el momento.
Esta reunión comunitaria estará abierta a todos los miembros de la comunidad, y se proporcionará comida y bebida durante la celebración. Los niños son bienvenidos y el lugar cuenta con una zona de juegos suave.
Durante las reuniones habrá talleres breves sobre la nueva Sociedad de Interés Común de la Comunidad de Wards Corner, que actualmente está en proceso de ser establecida, para administrar democráticamente el edificio restaurado de Wards Corner, y sobre el ‘Community Plan’ de Wards Corner de los co-diseñadores arquitectónicos Unit-38 . Todos tendrán la oportunidad de compartir sus puntos de vista y ayudar a dar forma a los aspectos de diseño y gobernanza del Plan y la CBS.
Los miembros de Wards Corner Coalition, Seven Sisters Tenants Association, Save Latin Village y West Green Road/Seven Sisters Development Trust también darán breves discursos.
