Over the past month, we’ve been hosting workshops for key beneficiary communities on the new Wards Corner Community Benefit Society (CBS). These were lead by Dave Hollings from Co-operative and Mutual Solutions (CMS), who were allocated to the project through the Mayor of London/Coops UK Boosting Community Business programme as an independent support provider.
It’s been great to see a growing level of interest and excitement in the future of the Wards Corner site. In the coming month, we want to keep engaging with community members. Read below for some more information on the CBS workshops, and ways you can get involved in the coming weeks.
Survey on the Wards Corner CBS
In the coming weeks, Dave Hollings will be producing a report of recommendations for the Wards Corner CBS. This will be based on community responses to key questions which were asked in the workshops.
We want to get as many community members sharing their views on this as possible. We’ve put together a survey so that more people have a chance to be part of this process.
Help Shape the Wards Corner Community Benefit Society – Community Survey
This survey will end on the 7th November (midnight).
We will be hosting a community workshop on the 24th November in the evening. At this, we will hear Dave Hollings’ recommendations for the new CBS. There will also be a chance to engage with new design work, and celebrate recent achievements together.
We’ll be circulating more information about this soon, but for now, be sure to save the date!
